3 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY

᪥ 3-Night Minimum Stay: Bookings are only available Thursday through Sunday. Guests must check in on Thursday and check out on Sunday.

᪥ Location: The Treehouse is 150m up the side of Mombacho Volcano. While it's a fun adult playground, staying here involves some hiking—we recommend a basic fitness level.

᪥ Family-Style Meals: Our local cooks serve fresh, hearty vegetarian meals (vegan options available). Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks are offered daily.

᪥ Bar Hours: Open Thursday-Sunday, 12 PM to 8 PM (till 3 AM Fridays).

We’re a small hostel with a great communal area, which makes meeting new people easy and fun! Everyone that stays is here for the party, so you’ll make friends for your Friday festivities.

᪥ Reception Hours: 8 AM - 8 PM.

᪥ Check-In: 12 PM - 8 PM on Thursdays. Notify us in advance for late check-in or early check-out.

᪥ No Kitchen Access: Guests cannot use the kitchen or fridge.

᪥ Towels: Available for rental.

᪥ Cancellation Policy: Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your booked date.

  • "This hostel is famous for its insanely good rave on Friday nights but it’s so much more than that!! The place itself is just so beautiful, built on different levels in the middle of the jungle, you’ll literally be perched in the trees with the monkeys! It’s clean and well looked after but more than anything, Treehouse feels like a big family. All the staff, managers and volunteers are SO nice and straight away welcoming. As soon as you arrive you know that it’ll be hard for you to check out because it feels like home."

I joined the community tour Friday morning, led by Laura, one of the owners. it was phenomenal. in all of my travels, I’ve never seen a hostel with such a positive relationship with the local community. I learned that the treehouse is a women-owned hostel, which is the first I’ve seen during my trip. As a solo female traveler, I felt so safe and welcomed. Highly recommend checking out this one-of-a-kind hostel if you’re staying in Nicaragua. truly truly an amazing experience, with amazing people.
